This episode is a recounting of my very first experience with psychedelics… Ayahuasca specifically.

Plant medicines date back centuries. Ayahuasca follows that tradition and comes from the Amazon or areas like Peru where “Aya Ceremonies” are strongly tied to religion or the expulsion of negative or bad spirits.
 
Now, this strange brew of the ayahuasca vine and the chacruna leaf has made it’s way to the states and is rising in popularity as a treatment for depression, PTSD, or as a way to gain new perspective on old trauma.
 
It is working for many… this is my account of losing my plant medicine virginity to Mother Ayahuasca.
